Alice Power is a Swedish pianist, born into a family of professional musicians in 2000. At the age of 5 she started playing the piano with her mother and grandmother.
A meeting with Rena Shereshevskaya, the worldwide renowned pianist and teacher, made Alice move to Paris in September 2021 to start her studies in her class at École Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot. In 2025 Alice is awarded the prestigious Prix Cortot right after receiving her Artist Diploma with highest honours.
In 2017 Alice was invited to be a soloist with the Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra on the occasion of the annual opening of the Swedish government for all members of the Swedish royal family and the Swedish parliament. Alice has performed in most of Sweden’s biggest venues, in Salle Cortot in Paris, Rosey Concert Hall in Switzerland, the Radio House of Wroclaw, Fréderic Chopin’s summer house in Poland, as well as in China, England, Romania, Jordan, Italy, Norway, Georgia, France – with Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, the Wroclaw University Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vasteras Sinfonietta Orchestra and also performs regularly in different chamber music groups. She is also a laureate of several important scholarships and international competitions in France, Sweden, Italy, Georgia, Germany, Poland, Spain etc.
Alice Power has worked with renowned musicians Renaud Capuçon, Gábor Takács-Nagy, Rafael Payare, Christian Lindberg, Marc Soustrot, and others and is regularly invited to international music festivals in Sweden, France and abroad.
Since 2011 Alice has also been a guest artist in the big Swedish show “Rhapsody in Rock” created by pianist/composer Robert Wells. They have toured together several times and have played in most of Swedish big concert halls and arenas, as well as in England and China, with numerous performances on Swedish and international television.
Alice obtained her Master’s Degree in Musicology and Piano Interpretation in 2023 after having written a big study on the connections of music and rhetorics – a research based on the music and symbolism in J.S.Bach’s music and his influence on subsequent composers (a topic that Alice is very passionate about and continues to explore.) She is today continuing on her Artist Diploma under prof.Rena Shereshevskaya in Paris, as well as actively performing in Europe. Before moving to Paris Alice was studying at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo (class of Marianna Shirinyan) and the Royal College of Music in Stockholm for her Bachelor of Music. Since January 2024 Alice is as well one of the soloists of the International Menuhin Music Academy in Switzerland.
In summer 2025 Alice was programmed for festivals like the Chopin Nohant Festival in France, touring in Sweden as well as joining the Gstaad Menuhin Festival Academy, invited by Sir Ándras Schiff. Today, she is working with professor Rena Shereshevskaya in Paris, as well as actively performing in Europe.
Apart from music Alice loves to travel, read and study languages.
